Damian first started his volleyball career in rural Ontario, a little town called Barry's Bay up near Algonquin Park. It was there that this 15 year old fell in love with the game of volleyball. During his high school career, Damian led his Madawaska Valley District team to a county championship, and the Eastern Ontario Championships three years in a row. After high school, he went on to try out for Durham College varsity men's program, which he luckily made as the only walk-on player.

Damian played for Durham College and over the course of four years, Durham went on to make the OCAA Playoff Tournament 3 times – winning two bronze medals; and in 1996, Damian was a part of a gold medal provincial team, that went onto finish 5th overall at the CCAA National Tournament. Over the course of his four years at Durham, Damian won Most Improved Player his first year, and a Commitment and Dedication award his fourth year, and was also awarded an athletic scholarship.

Damian recently completed his Level 1 coaching certification and currently coaches the South County Bandits 15U Teal team. Damian is looking forward to helping the BVA expand past its London borders into the rich volleyball community of Windsor. His hobbies include running, working out and travelling.

Damian is excited to coach beach volleyball for the BVA in Windsor this summer!
